This website is designed to be accessible to the widest possible number of users. People with disabilities, older browsers and new and future technologies are encouraged to share our information. We seek to include every viewer who visits.
The promise of accessibility means our website is available to all willing users. As the Web grows larger, it becomes more integrated. Code standardization allows people to use any one of dozens of browsers and/or audio devices. Standardized code is important to new search technologies. No one who comes to the site should leave because of a bad electronic experience.
We comply with current W3C recommendations in language development (validated XHTML 1.0), code accessibility compliance (WAI- AAA, validated CSS) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (Section 508). The site may be navigated by keyboard and/or mouse, as well as screen readers, magnifiers and Web TV. The "bypass navigation" link allows screen readers to jump directly to the page content without scrolling through entire sections of navigation links, headers and graphic embellishments.
